Hamilton Island Airport is the only commercial island airport in the Whitsundays with direct flights daily. Qantas, Virgin Australia and Jetstar land here from Australia’s major international gateway airports.
Passenger ferries sail to Hamilton Island from Shute Harbour and Port of Airlie on the Whitsunday mainland. The 300-berth Hamilton Island Marina offers sailors their home away from home at the Hamilton Island Yacht Club.
A complimentary electric golf buggy is provided to all guests staying at qualia. Driving the golf buggy at a capped speed of 10km/hr allows guests to slow down and capture the gentle, laidback pace of life on Hamilton Island. Shaded from the sun with a canopy and with headlights for night driving, they are a great way to explore Hamilton Island. To drive a buggy, guests must have a full and valid Drivers Licence.
