Pas de deux in Paradise
The Australian Ballet is returning to qualia for another exclusive weekend of ‘pas de deux in paradise’ from 16-18 November 2012.
Now in its fifth year at qualia, this unique event provides the opportunity to go ‘behind the scenes’ with The Australian Ballet, as well as the chance to attend a rare and exclusive outdoor performance performed by this world renowned dance company.
To commence the weekend you are invited to an intimate dinner at qualia, which includes a q&a session for your chance to gain an insight to the life of the artists and Artistic Director, David McAllister. The program of events continues on Saturday with the crescendo of the weekend to be held in the evening. Under a glittering sky and with a backdrop of the Whitsunday Islands The Australian Ballet will perform a repertoire of pas de deuxs from the great classic ballets. At the conclusion of the performance an exclusive and intimate dinner will be held prepared especially by qualia’s Executive Chef .
